The controller responsible for data processing is OMICRON electronics GmbH, Oberes Ried 1, 6833 Klaus (“we”).

We process the personal data you provide (child’s name, date of birth, health data, T-shirt size, contact details of parents/legal guardians) in accordance with:

• - Art 6(1) lit b GDPR (performance of contractual obligations),
• - Art 6(1) lit c GDPR (compliance with OMICRON’s legal obligations),
• - Art 6(1) lit f GDPR (OMICRON’s legitimate interest), and
• - Art 6(1) lit a GDPR) (your provided consent).

Personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of organizing and conducting OMICRON Childcare services, as well as for informing you as a parent/legal guardian about updates related to OMICRON Childcare services.

Personal data will not be shared with third parties unless this is necessary to facilitate registration and administration of the OMICRON Childcare services (e.g. providers of childcare or entertainment programs, administrative and communication platforms).

In addition, information may be shared within our internal company intranet in order to report on OMICRON Childcare services.

The transfer of personal data outside the EU is not intended. However, if such a transfer becomes necessary, it will always be carried out in compliance with applicable data protection standards.

Personal data will be deleted after completion of the respective OMICRON Childcare service, but no later than three years after the last day of the respective OMICRON Childcare service, unless retention is required to safeguard OMICRON’s legitimate interests or to fulfill legal obligations.

You have the right at any time to request access to your personal data, as well as to request its correction, deletion, transfer, or restriction of processing, or to lodge a complaint with the competent authority (Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna).

Liability and Insurance

By registering, you confirm that you will provide all information relevant to the proper care of the registered child(ren) no later than the start of the respective OMICRON Childcare service.

OMICRON, its legal representatives, and involved agents such as caregivers and assistants are not liable for accidents occurring during the OMICRON Childcare service or for any resulting damages of any kind, unless such accidents were caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or unless otherwise required by mandatory statutory provisions.

We recommend that you do not bring any particularly valuable personal items to the OMICRON Childcare program and that you take out private accident and liability insurance.
